Who it’s for: Acting Performance is for adults who have completed at least 3 sessions of Acting Mastery and would like to have the opportunity to take the next step and put what they’ve learned into practice with a performance.

What it’s about: In this advanced performance class students experience the process of performing in a scripted show in front of a live audience. This experience goes beyond simply acting - students will learn about expectations and professionalism for actors, the collaboration process and what it really takes to put on a show.

Topics Include:

• Understanding the rehearsal process and how to prepare
• How to work with a director, stage manager and tech crew
• Managing energy (yours and others)
• Discovering and overcoming personal barriers to a great performance
• Memorization tips and tricks
• And a lot more!

You’ll walk away with: This class provides you with the experience of mounting a show, as well as putting everything you’ve learned about acting into practice in front of a live audience. Whether you’re looking to become a professional actor, or have a bonding experience with your classmates, you’ll have an unforgettable experience in the Acting Performance Lab.
